”Disease can take away all my physical abilities, but it cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart, and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever.”

Hi, I’m Shelly

A mental health blogger and Sjögrens Syndrome Survivor. Passionate about sharing thoughts and information on everything that makes my days better.  Raising a German Shepherd is teaching me patience as well as progress through training the brain, continuity, and persistence.

Depression and anxiety are getting in my way.    I must be strong and fight.

I am a middle aged woman who is struggling with Sjögrens syndrome and just need a support group to help deal with a brave new way of living.  I live in the Midwest with my boyfriend and German Shepherd who are dealing with all of this together.  We all have a lot to learn about a new approach to life. Join us in this fight against Sjögrens syndrome!
